It's basically like acting online. You either play a character or make one up, and every post you make it has to be through the eyes of the character, describing his or her actions and what-not.

Here's an example of what it would look like if I was Role Playing (RP) as Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean:

::The dark brown dreadlocks and beads whipped around his face in the wind. His brown eyes, lined in black, narrowed just abit to protect themselves from the spray of the sea as he looked out towards that deep blue horizon. He stood tall at the head of the boat, one arm extended to the wheel as he stood with his feet apart. The other rugged hand held a compass, the spindle not directed to the north. As his eyes darted to the compass in his hand, reading it for a moment before his gaze slowly lifted back to the hoizon, a sluggish and sly grin touched the corner of his lips::

There are some rules and terms in RP, too that I can write out if anyone wanted to start learning how to RP... If anyone's interested, lol.

well the only TV shows I watch are on FUSE. They are: Rockzilla, Uranium, Loaded, and Celebrity Tastemaker. I dont think you can RP with those. Video games.....uhh I dont really play them anymore

i still really don't get this....RP thing.....do u have to be the character? or just describe him/her/it/thing once and thats it....

Rp is the abrieviation of roleplay!Jeez.Trying to make it easier.Alright,I'll explain it in one sentence.Rolplaying is like writing a story except somebody else joins in with their onw character.
